Just as I was ranting on Twitter yesterday about not hearing any new J.Cole material for what feels like forever, new Kendrick Lamar drops produced by J.Cole and Canei Finch. God is good.
‘The Jig Is Up (Dump’n)’ is a salute and thanks to all his fans who has supported him and bought his album having sold over 240,000 copies of ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ sold in its first week.
Kendrick also addresses Shyne‘s comment on ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ who called it “traaaash”, by responding “I pray to God this beat is good enough for Shyne, If not, J. Cole your shit is traaash!, But at least my opinion just made everyone laugh.”
Peep the J.Cole produced track below (which boasts a tough church organ melody).
The week is up… Yall did it… AppreciatIon day is TODAY. With that being said. Me and COLE was in the stu lastnight………..
