With catchy hooks and hard hitting beats, we can confidently say that during the early and mid 2000′s some of the best RnB & Hip Hop was released. Take ‘Lovers And Friends’ for example – that sexy slow jam had us singing along to Usher’s chorus day and night, Lil Jon’s “YEAAAAAH” ad-lib ringing in our ears (or at least until it was replaced by Rick Ross’s grunt) and Ludacris’ flow had to be reloaded many times. The song never gets old.
‘Lovers And Friends’ was released back in 2004 appearing on the Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz album ‘Crunk Juice’. The song samples ‘Lovers And Friends’ by Michael Sterling, a track dated back to 1990.
You can sing along to both the original sample and Lil John’s version below. Don’t forget to tell this to your lovers and friends…
